About Me

Tabea Stawitz

CDBC, CSAT, CPDT-KA, BSc

Tabea fell in love with training and animal behaviour after rescuing her mastiff mix Paco in 2009.

While researching the best methods for training Paco, Tabea found passion and inspiration for reward-based training and behaviour modification. This inspired her to attend the Dalhousie Agriculture Campus to study animal science, during her time at the AC Tabea took as many animal behaviour courses as she could. Which led her to meet Heather A. Logan and in 2013 Tabea started studying to become a dog training under Heather A. Logan and Cloverfield Animal Behaviour Services completing their specialist trainer training. In 2015 Tabea started teaching classes with Jollytails Inc. and has been teaching there ever since. In 2015 Tabea also started Gentle Paws Animal Services. Tabea is a Certified Dog Behaviour Consultant (CDBC) and a Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer (CSAT) and would love to help you achieve stress-free and guilt-free departures.

Tabea currently shares her home with her canine companions Priest and Prudence. And when she is not busy with clients, she continues on with her education.
